Terms of Use

Last updated: June 27, 2026

These Terms govern access to Invoara, an invoicing, payment tracking, reminder, reconciliation, catalog, inventory, workspace, and recipient-portal service for businesses. They are written in plain language because billing software should not hide the ball.

Accounts and Workspaces

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account, workspace, customer, invoice, catalog, inventory, and billing information, and for all activity by members you invite to your workspace. You must keep login credentials secure and promptly revoke access for users who should no longer have workspace permissions.

Invoara is currently designed for US-based businesses issuing USD invoices. You are responsible for using the service only where your business is legally allowed to do so.

Subscriptions and Fair Pricing

Starter, Pro, and Team are monthly subscription plans unless an annual option is selected. Annual pricing, when offered, is charged at 10 times the monthly price. Trial length, plan limits, and plan prices are shown in the product and may vary by plan.

Invoara does not add per-invoice overage fees. Starter invoice sending may pause after the included send allowance until the billing cycle resets or the workspace upgrades, but drafting, viewing, payment history, cancellation, export, and recipient payment access remain available.

Team plans add collaboration workflows for staff, bookkeepers, accountants, and other trusted helpers. Recipients who only view or pay invoices are not paid seats.

Standard Stripe processing fees apply to online payments collected through Stripe. Invoara does not charge a transaction commission. Any pricing changes will be disclosed before taking effect.

Stripe Connect and Payments

Online payment processing is provided by Stripe, not Invoara. To send invoices for online payment, you may need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding and satisfy Stripe's verification requirements. Stripe may approve, delay, restrict, or reject accounts under its own agreements and policies.

Standard Stripe processing fees apply to online payments collected through Stripe. Stripe fees are not marked up by Invoara. Invoara does not charge a transaction commission. Any pricing changes will be disclosed in-product and covered by updated terms before taking effect.

Invoara records invoice, payment, refund, dispute, and allocation information to help you track receivables. You remain responsible for reconciling your books, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and customer communications.

Customer and Recipient Data

You may enter customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, invoice line items, payment records, notes, and related business data. You represent that you have the right to provide this data to Invoara and to send invoices, reminders, and recipient-portal links to the people you designate.

Recipient portal access is intended only for the recipient associated with an invoice or email address. You are responsible for reviewing invoice details before sending them.

Your invoices, customers, payments, recipient records, and workspace records remain accessible to you subject to security and account controls. We do not intentionally trap customer data as a billing tactic.

Reminders and Communications

Invoara can send invoice and overdue-payment communications by email. SMS reminders are disabled by default and must not be used unless the required consent, opt-out, and compliance requirements are satisfied. You are responsible for the content and legality of communications sent to your customers.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Invoara for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, high-risk, or unauthorized activity. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, probe other users' data, overload the service, or use the service to send spam or unwanted communications.

Service Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as we improve the product or respond to operational, legal, security, or third-party platform requirements. We work to keep Invoara reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

No Professional Advice

Invoara is not a bank, payment processor, accounting firm, law firm, tax advisor, or collections agency. Product screens, reminders, dashboards, and calculator outputs are informational and are not financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
